CPAO Member Named 2008 Fairview Officer of the Year

The Fairview Police Department has honored Officer Neel O'Donnell, Crime Prevention Coordinator, as the 2008 Officer of the Year.

O'Donnell was chose because he "made a significant impact in the area of drug and crime prevention throughhis hard work with community events partnerships."

O'Donnell organized Fairview's National Night Out in 2007 and 2008, events that earned the Fairview Department the prestigious Rookie of the Year and Outstanding NationalNight Out awards. He also coordinates the department's bicycle safety program and organized a bike rodeo and safety fair last summer for more than 100 low-income children.
